"You'll Forget Everything Soon" was created for Dallas VideoFest 2012 Expanded Cinema, an exhibition of new video art works, each of which completely wrapped the exterior of the Omni Hotel, Dallas, with audio simulcast on public radio KXT 91.7 FM. The video is about physical and emotional distance. It alludes to the obscurity of human communication, and the curious relation between presence and absence. It explores the state of being and simultaneously not-being and is occupied with the thoughts of two people who are close, yet far away from one another.
